lyrics
Pay it back, pay it forward, pay it today
Borrowing money just to give it away
The lifestyles of the rich and famous have left us behind
And everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime
Everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime
Robot surplus rusting in the sun
Recycled at the garbage dump for a profit run
Robbing banks should not be considered a crime
Cuz everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime
All the poors in the midst of stinking wealth
wanna change, can’t exchange, just killing our health
It’s hard to say anymore what’s truly a crime
Everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime
Anonymity confuses the fuzz
Disappearing ammo lock ‘em up in their cuffs
The bankers and police do their pantomime,
And everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime
Bonaparte Incorporated ready to kill
The ponzies wash their hands while the oil men drill
The billionaires got bailed out
They got the fruit we got the rind
Everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime
Everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime
Everybody’s scrambling for the same lousy dime

Goddamn, Robert, you are the man!
Some damn fine southern blues, unlike any I have experienced. The replay value on this son of a bitch is outstanding. I believe I'm on my 10th spin after what a week? Dark lullabies to calm the disturbed & disturb the comforted
I have to say, I have never heard a version of Killing Floor Blues quite like Robert's. Only one of the many reasons I keep coming back to this 💎
Magnolia is a great commentary on the history & current situation in the south CoughCool

This album was pretty good. I liked the heavy sounds mixed with the clear, powerful vocals. This album is a slow burn, though. It gets better as it goes and builds to a truley epic finishing track. I will be listening to it again. Gregory
